Moments on Stage
When my daughter was young, I realized how important improvisation is for kids. I decided to put together an improvisation workshop for children. I soon had one studio in downtown Las Vegas and one in Boulder City, where we performed showcases twice a year. Many of my students went on to act and work in television and major films.
With the success of my improv workshop in the Las Vegas community, I was asked to work on a children’s television pilot entitled “Our World” as a director and acting coach. Many of my younger students performed in this video.
I also had an opportunity to teach improv at the youth correctional facility Spring Mountain Youth Camp. I produced a documentary titled “Insights” that focused on how these youth found inspiration and a greater sense of self through improvisational acting.
